HOW IT WORKS:

2010 STATE COMPETITION FORMAT:
The High school State competition will consist of 4 competitions; the 1st competition will be our DFW Stepshow, it will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Black Academy of Arts & Letters in Dallas, TX. The 2nd competition will be our Central TX Stepshow, it will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Cultural Activity Center in Temple, TX. The 3rd competition will be our Houston Stepshow, it will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at M.O. Campbell Education Center in Houston, TX. The 4th competition will be our STATE Championship Stepshow, it will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Caldwell Auditorium in Tyler, TX.

All step teams will need to register for one of the preliminary competitions. Each preliminary show determines the step teams selected to perform in the championship. Teams that place 1st and 2nd in preliminary stepshows will have an automatic bid into the Championship. The top male, coed, and female teams will be selected for the STATE Championship Stepshow & compete for a $1500 Grand Prize.
