Our Mission:
Texas Step Shows mission is to encourage students to participate on step teams across Texas for fun and fulfillment. It is also our desire to encourage participants to attend historical colleges and universities. We attain our mission by economically assisting students with scholarships to these institutions and by hosting campus tours. Our events help familiarize students with the college atmosphere and a small part of Greek life.
In addition, we encourage communities to sponsor teams and give young kids the opportunity to be part of a healthy competitive atmosphere. Many teams that participate tend to be community driven, non-profit and all volunteer as well as communities-in-schools organizations. The parents are heavily involved in the fund raising, cheering, and encouragement of these teams. Step teams generate more interaction between parents, children and the general community than most sports or after school programs.
